Damals wurde es in einem Wissenschaftslabor in Washington, D.C. bei Schimpansen nachgewiesen. Eine Heilung war in weiter Ferne. Julianna Margulies spielt Dr. Nancy Jaax, eine Tierärztin der U.S. Army.
